My May Day

I had a two-day holiday during May Day. Thefirst day I helped my parents in the shop, because they had bought many newgoods and people bought something they needed in our shop.

The next day I went to Yuexiu Park with myfriends. We went there by underground, where I could see a large crowd ofpeople. Many people choose to go somewhere by underground, they think that cansave more time.

Yuexiu Park is the largest park in downtownGuangzhou. We could see many children in the park with their parents. Theweather was very nice, neither hot nor cold. The air is very fresh there, many green trees are around a big lake, and some people were boating. We walked inthe park, there are some unknown flowers at the side of the road. In the middleof the park, there is a big playground; there are many interesting things toplay. You could hear people laugh loudly there, we also played happily. Then weheaded for higher places. The Statue of Five Rams is one of the most famousstructures in Guangzhou, many people took photos with it, and so did we.

It's almost twelve o 'clock, we felt verytired and hungry, so we walked out of the park to find a place for lunch andtake a rest. There is a McDonald's nearby, we went in to have a meal. Afterfinishing eating lunch, we went shopping around. About five o’clock, we wereready to go home. Today we had a good time.
